Anforderungen
Muss:
- Enrolled full-time student in the area of Computer Science, Telecommunication, or an equivalent field of study.
- Good programming skills in Java, with practical experience in microservice architectures and a solid knowledge of the ReST paradigm.
- Proficiency in the Linux environment and a strong understanding of the full DevOps chain.
- Self-organizing team player with good communication skills.
- Advanced English proficiency is mandatory; a basic level of German is required, with higher proficiency being an advantage.
- Knowledge of cloud technology and/or satellite Ground Segment applications is considered a strong plus.
Verantwortlichkeiten
- Study a specific ground segment application, including its interfaces and simulation environments.
- Design a feature in the ground segment application.
- Implement the feature with the full DevOps chain and deployment.
- Conduct automated testing/simulation of the feature.
- Demonstrate the capabilities of the feature on a dedicated site.
Beschreibung
We are looking for an intern to support Airbus Defence and Space as a Development Engineer in the exciting field of Ground Segment for satellites. You will have the chance to work full-time (35 hours per week) and gain practical experience in developing and testing ground segment applications. Our department focuses on the design and implementation of turn-key solutions for complete Ground Segments, including data receiving stations, payload data processing, and satellite control systems.
