Ground Segment Systems Engineer (d/f/m)

At Airbus Defence & Space in Taufkirchen, we are looking for a Ground Segment Systems Engineer (d/f/m) to join our System Delivery Germany team. Our department is dedicated to developing satellite communication systems for both civil and military customers. In this role, you will engage in the concept, design, development, and technical procurement of Ground Segment extensions and modifications for the SATCOMBw and EDRS Ground Segments to cater to new clients and support additional satellites. You will oversee the development and acceptance phase from the Request for Proposal (RFP) to the final acceptance of ground segment entities. After acceptance, you will guide the implementation of the ground segment items until they are operational. During the operational phase, you will act as the technical point of contact for any anomalies and support the resolution of issues.
