Anforderungen
Muss:
- University degree (bachelors/diploma/technical college) in a STEM field or comparable IT qualification or vocational qualification in IT with several years of practical experience
- Expert knowledge and several years of practical experience in the administration of Microsoft SQL Server database systems (version 2019 and higher)
- In-depth knowledge of programming with T-SQL and PowerShell
- Good knowledge of the Windows Server operating system (current version) and Active Directory, including group policies
- Experience in developing automation modules to support database administration with Ansible Playbook, database scripting, and automation technologies (desirable)
- Structured, solution-oriented work style and enjoyment of strategic, conceptual tasks
- Excellent communication skills (German at least B2 level)
- Strong sense of responsibility and initiative
Verantwortlichkeiten
- Independently responsible for process activities in the service lifecycle with a focus on service strategy and design, ensuring stable and secure operation of the Microsoft SQL Server database systems
- Coordinate the transfer of new databases into operation and manage deployment activities in compliance with quality criteria
- Define standards and guidelines for the provision and operation of database systems (e.g., installation and maintenance)
- Develop binding concepts related to the database system, considering IT security requirements and strategic objectives
- Ensure that the systems are documented in an up-to-date, structured, and complete manner
- Participate in company-wide IT projects and manage those projects
- Provide comprehensive advice to customers on database-related issues such as authorization and security concepts, translating requirements into implementable technical solutions
- Initiate and supervise laboratory and test installations, drive the automation of operational processes, and support junior staff
