Anforderungen
Muss:
- Successfully completed university degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable field of study.
- Alternatively, completed IT training in conjunction with relevant professional experience in network administration.
- Alternatively, several years of relevant professional experience in the described area of responsibility.
- In-depth knowledge of network fundamentals (routing and switching) as well as firewall and/or network access control (NAC).
- Interest in innovative network technologies and willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
- Analytical, logical, and structured thinking skills.
- Independent, self-reliant and goal-oriented approach to work.
- Ability to work in a team and good communication skills.
- Organizational and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally; drivers license is desirable.
Verantwortlichkeiten
- Support and further development of the IT network landscape with a focus on Cisco and Fortinet technologies.
- Installation, administration, and operation of network components.
- Administration in the specialist areas of firewalls, network segmentation, network access control, remote access (VPN), and remote maintenance.
- User support and order and fault processing in the task environment (incident and change management).
- Creation of technical documentation, network plans, and reports.
- Coordination of internal and external service providers.
