Anforderungen
Muss:
- A doctoral degree/PhD in a relevant field.
- Teaching experience at university level.
- A student-centred teaching approach that emphasises active participation and inclusivity.
- Documented research achievements.
- Accomplishments in the application or development of scientific knowledge and methods in at least five years of professional practice, of which at least three years must have been practiced outside the university sector (in line with §100 of the Berlin Higher Education Law (BerlHG)).
- An excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Experience in entrepreneurship or product development.
- International and transcultural experience.
- Experience in attracting (research) funding.
- Finding joy in a creative, collaborative, and engaging environment where the land is still being laid.
Verantwortlichkeiten
- Creating and delivering interactive learning formats and assessments.
- Mentoring our students.
- Contributing to the curriculum development for Bachelors and Masters programs.
- Conducting research.
- Acquisition and implementation of research projects and other partnerships.
- Contributing to the regular and systematic evaluation of the quality of teaching and research.
- Representation of the university in the scientific and general public.
- Active participation in the academic self-governance.

CODE University of Applied Sciences invites applications for multiple professorships including Software Engineering, Liberal Arts & Digital Policy, and Business Management & Entrepreneurship starting August 1st, 2026 or later. We offer a permanent contract with a full-time position (40 hours per week) located in Berlin, along with a competitive salary between €6,166 and €7,083 per month depending on experience. You will join a diverse community of professors, lecturers, students, and network partners, all committed to fostering a supportive learning environment.
