- Apply software development practices and standards to develop robust and maintainable software.
- Be actively involved in every part of the software development process.
- Guide non-technical teams and consultants on best practices for robust software development.
- Optimize and enhance the computational efficiency of algorithms and software design.
- Be motivated by a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and engage directly with clients on new features for future product releases.
- Enjoy collaborating in diverse teams to share software design and solution ideas.
- Be natural problem-solvers and intellectually curious across a breadth of industries and topics.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both German and English (C1/C2).
- Hold a Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field of study (please provide all academic certificates: A-level, Bachelor, Master).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, and JavaScript.

- Our BCG X teams own the full analytics value chain from end to end: framing new business challenges, designing innovative algorithms, implementing and deploying scalable solutions, and enabling colleagues and clients to fully embrace AI.
- As part of our rapidly growing engineering team, you will help build the next generation of AI solutions.
- You’ll have the opportunity to partner with clients across various BCG regions and industries on key topics like climate change, enabling them to design, build, and deploy new and innovative solutions.
- Additional responsibilities include developing and delivering thought leadership within scientific communities, contributing papers, and leading conferences on behalf of BCG X.
