Anforderungen
Muss:
- A degree in business informatics, data engineering, data management, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience in data engineering, ideally with a focus on Databricks and Azure, along with knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, and Power BI.
- Initial practical experience in the development and operation of complex Data Platforms, including data integration, pipeline design, cloud and on-premise architectures, and collaboration with business departments.
- Very good knowledge of SQL, Python, ETL design, dbt, and Airflow.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD (GitHub), and monitoring (e.g., Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus).
- Understanding of data governance, Unity Catalog, cost monitoring, and metadata management is an advantage.
- Initial experience with Jira and Confluence is desirable.
- Strong communication skills, team orientation, and an agile way of working.
- A hands-on mentality, a sense of responsibility, and a desire to drive projects forward.
Verantwortlichkeiten
- Play an active role in setting up and operating our new Data Analytics Platform using modern technologies.
- Manage our existing BI landscape and assist in the transition to the new architecture.
- Create high-performance and maintainable data pipelines while integrating data from various source systems, both on-premise and in the cloud.
- Analyze requirements from business departments, develop technical concepts based on these requirements, and implement them into scalable solutions.
- Collaborate within an agile Product Team to facilitate data-driven decisions and guide BRITA in becoming a data-oriented organization.
- Use Jira to process user stories and document processes and projects in Confluence.
- Regularly take responsibility for monitoring, incident handling, maintenance, and communication as part of rolling platform operations.
- Help shape technical concepts and advise stakeholders.
- Contribute to the further development of standards, documentation, and training formats to promote sustainable use of our Data Analytics Platform.
