A vacancy for a System Engineer (d/f/m) Flight Recording and Aircraft Localisation has arisen within Airbus at the earliest possible start date. Our team is responsible for the Recording and Aircraft Localisation System. We capture flight recordings in the so-called Black Box, manage related data, and have developed a new aircraft tracking function that automatically identifies if an aircraft is in an emergency and sends an alert to ground via a dedicated satellite link. We continually evolve the system with projects on ejectable recorders and satellite-based recording while supporting airlines in operating the system and troubleshooting. Our team and products are one of the significant pillars of aircraft accident and incident investigations. You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg, with the option to commute by ferry.
