Firmware and Embedded Systems Engineer (M/F/X)

- Masters degree or engineering school - Minimum 3 years of professional experience, excluding internships and apprenticeships - Strong knowledge of FPGA design using VHDL - Experience with Intel/Altera or Xilinx FPGA tools, simulation, and automated test tools - Solid understanding of digital design, timing constraints, and resource optimization - Experience with FPGA commissioning, bring-up, and hardware debugging - Knowledge of embedded systems architectures and FPGA integration with processors and acquisition hardware - Familiarity with hardware interfaces (SPI, I²C, UART, PCIe, Ethernet, LVDS, etc.) - Experience with testbench development, simulation, and validation methodologies - Basic knowledge of C/C++ for low-level tools, testing, or FPGA/software interfacing - Ability to work within industrial development processes and quality constraints - Experience with version control systems (Git) and structured development workflows - Capability to produce clear and maintainable technical documentation - Fluent English (mandatory)
