For the job, you need one of the following qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or diploma (FH) in computer science or business informatics.
- Other qualifications (e.g., IT specialist) with extensive relevant skills and at least two years of professional experience.
- Civil servant of the 3rd QE / in the higher service, specialist career path in natural sciences and technology, focusing on administrative informatics.
- Civil servant in the 3rd QE / senior civil service in the administration and finance career path with at least three years of relevant professional experience.
- Verwaltungsfachwirt/in (Fachprüfung II) with at least three years of relevant professional experience.
You also have:
- Sound knowledge of front-end and back-end programming (C#) and database systems (MS SQL / Oracle, possibly PostgreSQL).
- Further knowledge of the Blazor and WPF frameworks, with programming knowledge in Java being an advantage.
- Good knowledge of deploying and operationally supporting web applications on Windows or RHEL servers (IIS, Tomcat, possibly Kestrel).
- Very good communication and project management skills.
- Ability to abstract and understand customers.
- Ability to work in a team, confident demeanor, and responsible personality.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities
You will:
- Design and develop application software tailored to the technical requirements of the departments of the City of Nuremberg as web applications or client-server solutions (.NET C# / Blazor / WPF / SQL).
- Confidently work in both front-end and back-end areas, implementing possible interfaces to surrounding systems in collaboration with their respective managers to effectively integrate your solution into the existing application landscape.
- Support and maintain the resulting individual software throughout its entire life cycle, including second and third-level support, monitoring, operational control, and implementation of additional functionalities.
- Play a key role in new, interesting IT projects, particularly in the field of digitalization, to streamline the city administrations processes and overcome media disruptions.
