Senior Platform Engineer (f/m/d) - Munich

In this role, you will partner with stakeholders across business units to translate complex requirements into robust data-driven technical solutions, integrating data engineering and software development. You will build and optimize data pipelines using modern programming languages and frameworks, focusing on Python/Pyspark/Snowpark for development and integration. Additionally, you will design, implement, and maintain efficient data workflows and data warehousing solutions using tools like Snowflake to ensure seamless data ingestion, transformation, storage, and retrieval. Leveraging Azure cloud platforms, you will deploy scalable data and software solutions, incorporating serverless architectures, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform). As part of an agile delivery team, you will manage end-to-end development cycles, from requirements gathering to deployment and monitoring, ensuring high-quality deliverables. You will also conduct rigorous testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of data systems. Lastly, you will monitor and optimize production environments using observability tools and implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery using tools like Azure DevOps.
