Requirements

Must:
- A completed scientific university degree (university diploma or master's degree) in a relevant field, preferably in information security, computer science, engineering, or law, or a relevant university degree (FH diploma or bachelor's degree) in conjunction with several years of relevant professional experience, or relevant training combined with extensive further training in IT security. - Very good knowledge of the BSI IT-Grundschutz compendium. - Very good knowledge of the ISO/IEC 27000 series. - Knowledge in the field of information security and a willingness to continuously deepen this knowledge.

Responsibilities

- I will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the university's information security status and documenting the results. - I will provide advice and training on information security issues for employees and students. - I will assist in updating the university's information security concept and in processes for ensuring the legally compliant and data protection-compliant use of IT resources. - I will represent the Information Security Officer in the Business Continuity Management System (BCM). - I will analyze and monitor information security incidents and support the Information Security Officer in communication at both management level and with external authorities. - I will engage in business processes that impact information processing and in the introduction of new IT systems and applications.
