Requirements
Must:
- A completed university education (Bachelor's, Diploma/FH or equivalent); ideally in the STEM field of study (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences or technology) or completed vocational training in the IT sector with several years of task-relevant professional experience or a comparable qualification with many years of task-relevant professional experience.
- First professional experience in the IT environment as well as first professional experience (ideally several years of professional experience) in risk management.
- Proven knowledge (certificates) in risk management.
- Business fluent in written and spoken German.
- Ideally experience in information security.
- Confident and capable of communicating complex issues to the appropriate audience.
Responsibilities
- Organizing and coordinating cross-agency information security, particularly in security and IS risk management.
- Supporting risk management for IT security throughout the German Pension Insurance (across all institutions) and advising internal and external stakeholders of the pension insurance institutions on operational issues, including in major DRV projects.
- Supporting the planning and implementation of audits as well as risk management and risk control.
- Documenting and maintaining the information security policy and taking responsibility for reporting.
- Designing and conducting training courses and workshops on risk management.
Description
We are looking for an IT Risk Manager (m/f/d) to join our Corporate Security department in the IT Security Office (GSIS) as of the next possible date. Our department serves as a central service provider for the DRV-Bund, responsible for IT and physical security, personal data protection, confidentiality, and emergency management. We offer a large IT landscape with exciting tasks, a flexible work model, and a commitment to the health and well-being of our employees. After successful induction, work can predominantly be performed from home, pending labor law requirements. This position comes with a need for travel within Germany (approximately 25%).
