Requirements
Must:
- Completed vocational training as an IT systems electronics technician or comparable qualifications, particularly in information technology or electrical engineering (e.g., electronics technician for devices and systems, information electronics technician) in conjunction with relevant professional experience.
- Valid Class B driving license, including verification for driving service vehicles.
- Experience in servicing communication systems, including accessories from various manufacturers.
- Current reference letter and recognized language certificate of German language proficiency (at least B2/C1) if your language of origin is not German.
Responsibilities
- Conduct mechanical and electrical testing of radio hardware and all communication channels, focusing on vehicle radio systems.
- Localize the cause of faults using various measurement technologies, including high-frequency measurement technology.
- Program individual components of radio systems based on programming templates after new radio device software releases.
- Incorporate fire brigade-specific settings into sample templates (standard code plug).
- Design and develop fire brigade-specific templates for device parameters.
