Requirements
Must:
- Completed university degree in business administration, IT management, law, or a related field
- At least three years of experience in IT vendor management, contract lifecycle management, sourcing, or related functions
- Familiarity with software licensing models (SaaS, On-Prem, subscription, perpetual), data protection clauses, and standard IT contract terms
- Proven ability to structure vendor governance and advise across teams (IT, legal, procurement, finance)
- Excellent organizational skills and a pragmatic, hands-on approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus
Responsibilities
In our Digital Delivery team, which is part of our Digitalization & IT organization, we are looking for a Specialist IT Vendor Management. In this key role, you will help us design foundational processes, tools, and governance mechanisms for our new function focused on optimizing our supplier portfolio and providing the right capabilities to our business partners. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing core vendor management structures, including central contract and vendor registers, lifecycle governance, and renewal tracking along with SLA obligations. You will act as the primary expert for vendor contract structures and legal interfaces, prepare vendor dossiers for strategic renewals and terminations, and define frameworks for risk assessment, audit rights, and compliance obligations. Additionally, you will support cost-benefit evaluations and strategic vendor decisions such as consolidation, rationalization, or make-or-buy, collaborating with our procurement, IT, controlling, and legal departments to align vendor processes.
