Requirements
Must:
I require candidates who possess a relevant, completed degree in engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field with a standard period of study of up to 4 years. Alternatively, completed vocational training with extensive subject-specific qualifications will be considered. I expect candidates to have extensive knowledge and experience in security management frameworks such as ISO 2700x, NIST CSF, OT Governance, ISO 31000, EBIOS-RM, and BSI IT-Grundschutz. Additionally, a deep understanding of security technologies, controls, and best practices is crucial. I am looking for proven experience in leading Governance projects and security initiatives, particularly with ISMS implementation and regulatory requirements across industries, including BSI, Export Control, GDPR, NIS2, and Defense. Exceptional communication skills, especially the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders, as well as strong presentation and report writing abilities for executive-level audiences, are a must. Cultural sensitivity for working with international teams and fluency in German and English at a negotiation level is mandatory. A willingness to travel domestically and internationally is also required. Security clearance is necessary for this role.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will lead large information security risk assessments using both qualitative and quantitative methods. I will develop security strategies in collaboration with internal and external teams, experts, and stakeholders. My responsibilities will also include developing corrective actions for complex client projects, as well as implementing security policies and procedures across the organization, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations and best practices, and raising awareness of security policies. I will train employees on best practices, provide technical guidance and development for Junior and Senior GRC Consultants, and foster their professional growth. I will plan and lead large consulting projects in Governance & Compliance, apply consulting methods independently, and document and present results both internally and externally. Furthermore, I will design and deliver awareness training to internal and external customers, improve existing processes and tools, and provide regular advice to customers for further support, including bid preparation for various project sizes. Conducting internal audits to verify compliance and recommend improvements will also form part of my responsibilities.
