Requirements
Must:
We require a relevant completed degree program in engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, or comparable fields, typically lasting up to 4 years. Alternatively, a degree of more than 4 years with substantial additional qualifications or relevant vocational training will be considered. Essential knowledge and experience include:
- Fundamental understanding of risk management frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 27005, ISO 31000, NIST CSF, EBIOS RM, and FAIR.
- Familiarity with security technologies, controls, and best practices.
- Proven experience leading risk assessment projects and security initiatives, with strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies.
- Awareness of regulatory requirements across various industries (such as GDPR, EASA Regulations) and experience with GRC platforms.
- Exceptional communication skills for conveying complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in German and English at a negotiation level (both spoken and written).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- A security clearance is required for this role or must be obtained from the appropriate authorities.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be tasked with:
- Performing risk or business impact analysis on embedded systems, industrial systems (OT), IT, and Cloud systems for medium to large consulting projects, including financial quantification of cyber risk and impact analysis of catastrophic scenarios.
- Defining and monitoring functional and technical mitigation plans, along with conducting methodological and technical monitoring, data analytics, and mathematical modeling.
- Planning and leading small consulting projects and significantly contributing to larger consulting projects.
- Applying consulting methods independently while documenting and presenting results to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Designing and delivering awareness and training programs to internal and external customers.
- Improving existing processes and tools, while occasionally advising customers for further support (including cross-/up-selling).
- Collaborating in the preparation of offers and company presentations, and managing project-related tasks such as technical project planning and documentation preparation.
