Requirements
Must:
We are looking for individuals with a relevant completed degree in engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, or comparable fields, typically lasting up to 4 years. Alternatively, candidates may have relevant experience through a degree lasting more than 4 years or completed vocational training with extensive subject-specific qualifications. The following skills and knowledge are essential for this position:
- Fundamental knowledge and experience in risk assessment and security initiatives.
- Deep understanding of major security and risk management frameworks (ISO 27001, ISO 27005, ISO 31000, NIST CSF, EBIOS RM, FAIR).
- Understanding of security technologies, controls, and industry best practices.
- Ability to develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Proven experience in leading risk assessment projects and familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative risk analysis.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements across industries (Export Control, GDPR, NIS2, Defense, EASA Regulations).
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Cultural sensitivity for working with international teams.
- Proficiency in German and English at a negotiation level (both spoken and written).
- Willingness to travel domestically and abroad.
A security clearance is required for this position or must be issued by the relevant authorities.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will be responsible for:
- Performing risk or business impact analyses on embedded systems, industrial systems (OT), IT, and Cloud systems for medium to large consulting projects.
- Developing and monitoring functional and technical mitigation plans, including data analytics and mathematical modeling.
- Planning and leading small consulting projects while significantly participating in larger consulting projects.
- Independently applying consulting methods while documenting and presenting results to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Designing and delivering awareness training sessions to internal and external customers.
- Proposing improvements to existing processes and tools.
- Occasionally advising customers about additional support options (cross-selling/up-selling).
- Collaborating in the preparation of offers and company presentations.
- Taking on functional and/or project-related tasks as needed (for example, technical project planning).
- Preparing required documentation and presenting work results.
