Requirements
Must:
- Several years of experience in product discovery, including search, recommendations, and merchandising.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional product initiatives with both strategic and operational impact.
- Strong understanding of data structures, tool integrations, and processes in e-commerce environments.
- Hands-on experience with PIM systems, recommendation engines, and shop platforms, familiar with analytics tools and data-driven workflows.
- Comfortable working with APIs, data feeds, and personalization logic, capable of translating business goals into scalable, tech-enabled solutions.
- Structured, data-driven, and detail-oriented mindset, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in cross-functional, international settings.
- Background in digital business, e-commerce, business informatics, or similar fields.
Responsibilities
- Own and develop our existing product data and tooling landscape, such as PIM, shop system, search and recommendation engines, to support scalable merchandising and personalization.
- Improve search and recommendation performance to enhance user experience and conversion.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality product data across all platforms and tools.
- Define, implement, and continuously optimize country-specific sorting logic, curated landing pages, and merchandising strategies in line with business goals.
- Act as a strategic interface between product, engineering, and external partners, translating business requirements into technical concepts and ensuring smooth implementation.
- Lead and develop the team responsible for product discovery and merchandising execution on a local level, driving cross-functional initiatives related to product discovery, data quality, and user experience.
